State of Emergency Declared in Oneida County

Utica, N.Y. - Oneida County Executive Anthony Picente has declared a State of Emergency in Oneida County after severe winter weather rocked Central New York Tuesday Afternoon.

The order will last 12 hours beginning a 6 p.m. Tuesday and continuing until 6 a.m. Wednesday. 

All non emergency personnel caught on the roads could be fined, arrested, and prosecuted. 

Oneida, Madison, and Cortland counties have all declared States of Emergency because of the severity of the winter storm.
