Syracuse, N.Y. – A shocking arrest today after the murder of a 15-year-old in Syracuse earlier this week.
City police say another 15-year-old boy has been arrested and he's accused of killing 15-year-old Akil Williams Wednesday night. Williams was shot on Cannon Street and later died at a city hospital. City police say they conducted several interviews and canvassed the neighborhood and then arrested the 15-year-old.
He's now been charged with second Degree Murder and Criminal Possession of a weapon. There appears to have been some dispute between the two teens which lead to the shooting.
The alleged murderer’s name is being withheld because of his age.
