Washington D.C. – Former Central New York Congresswoman Ann Marie Buerkle has been named as the chair of the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
Buerkle has been the acting Chair on the Commission since 2013.
President Trump nominated Buerkle to Chair the Commission for the next seven years. She will begin the as the official Chair in October.
