Auburn police are investigating what they are calling a suspicious death - in a cemetery.

Officers who responded to the Fort Hill Cemetery Monday just after 11am found a deceased person who was discovered by a cemetery employee.  Police say they have identified the person but the name will not be released until all family members are notified.  The death is being ruled suspicious, and the Onondaga County Medical Examiner's office will conduct an autopsy to determine cause of death.  Police are asking anyone with information about anyone who might have been in or near the cemetery between September 30 and Monday October 2 to contact Auburn Police.
