CenterState Makes Pitch For Amazon To Build Headquarters Here

CenterState CEO has officially submitted a pitch to Amazon, making the case for why Central New York is the perfect place to build its new headquarters.

Amazon invited North American cities to propose a home for its "HQ2," which will include 50,000 jobs.  CenterState's pitch joins the Syracuse and Utica/Rome area, which satisfies Amazon's requirement of a 1 million person marketplace.  The design team also addressed poverty in Syracuse by telling Amazon, "you are one of the most disruptive companies in the history of the US and the world.  We are looking to you to disrupt a different kind of market and work with us to disrupt poverty." If Amazon passes on our area, CenterState believes this plan can be used to show other companies the benefits of locating here.
