Oswego, N.Y. - State Route 48 in the City of Oswego has re-opened following heavy damage from a road collapse in February 2016.
The 1.7 million dollar repair project finished a few weeks a head of schedule. The repair was to a major collapse near the Munn Street Intersection. It has been more than a year since any part of the road was open.
The road had partially opened as a southbound street in the Summer of 2016. It was completely closed again last August of that year.
