Brewerton Firefighters responded to a house fire at 5898 Ladd Road in the Town of Cicero. When they arrived the house was fully engulfed.
Authorities say a 70-year-old man, the only one home at the time, died in the fire. The fire was called in by a pedestrian walking by.
The victim has not been identified and no cause has been established yet.
