Syracuse, N.Y. - A 17 year old boy has been arrested for attacking and robbing a woman at Destiny USA Thursday night.
Syracuse Police say that about 8:20 p.m. Thursday a woman had called 9-1-1 to say that she and a friend were approached by a group of young men. One of them tried to reach his hand into her pocket. Police say she tried to push him away but he attached her, stole her money, and ran away.
Police they didn't take long for them to catch up with 17 year old Teon Jacobs. They found him about 15 minutes after the call went out walking along Onondaga Blvd. The victim was able to identify Jacobs as her attacker.
He's charged with robbery and is being held at the Justice Center.
