Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse police are naming the Cicero woman that hit a pedestrian walking along Burnet Ave just after 5:00 p.m. Tuesday.
Officers say that Jayante Mitchell hit a person as they stumbled and fell into the path of her car. Officers say that she is cooperating with their investigation.
The victim was seriously hurt and taken to the hospital. Police are still trying to identify him.
Police haven't written any tickets.
