Fulton Woman Accused Of Stealing From Parkland Memorial

Parkland, Fla. - Police in Parkland, Florida have arrested a Fulton woman for stealing items from a memorial for those killed in the Valentines Day School Massacre.

On Valentines Day, 17 students and teachers at Marjorie Stoneman Douglas were killed.  In the aftermath, a make shift memorial at the school sprung up to remember those that died. The memorial was about to be archived by the City of Parkland, when the thieves struck. 

Kara O’Neil, along with a Hollywood Florida man were busted with an assortment of teddy bears, plaques, pin wheels and other cherished items of remembrance stolen from the fence along the school grounds.

O’Neil was arrested on suspicion of removing or disfiguring a tomb or a monument, which is a felony. She is being held on $1,000 bail.
