Sodus, N.Y. - The body of 18-year-old Selena Hidalgo-Calderon has been found. But her son Owen remains missing.
"You have a young 18-year-old mother with a 14-month infant, and it’s beyond my realm of reasoning why someone would be killed and while a small infant is still missing," said Wayne County Sheriff Barry Virts. "I can't explain it. I don't know how rational people can explain it."
Authorities say that her body was found badly decomposed in a wooded area near her home on Joy Road in Sodus. Her boyfriend, Alberto Reyes, has been arrested after trail cams in the area spotted him with a shovel.
