Busy Day For Syracuse Police Ends With Another Shooting

Syracuse Police are investigating a shooting.

On Thursday June 7th, 2018 at approximately 7:32 PM, Syracuse Police Officers responded to the 200 block of Shonnard Street in regards to a shooting call.

Upon arrival, Officers met with a 49 year old male, who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his thigh. The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital by AMR Ambulance for treatment. His injury does not appear to be life threatening at this time.The victim stated that he was approached by two males who may have asked for money. When the victim refused, he stated that he was shot by one of the suspects. The suspects were described as wearing white T-shirts.
