Mayor Looks To Clear Up Confusion Following Sylvan Beach Closure

Sylvan Beach's mayor is clearing up confusion over where people can swim. He says only a 125-foot section of village-owned beach is blocked off for financial reasons. Swimmers are still able to go into the water in the remaining 48-hundred foot area owned by Oneida County. Signs will be going up telling people they'll enter the water at their own risk.
