Trooper Killed In Corning While Responding To Domestic Call

A New York state trooper responding to an early-morning domestic call has been killed along with a suspect. 

29 year old Nicholas Clark a New York State Trooper was was killed while responding to a domestic dispute south of Corning, near SUNY Corning Community College. 

The suspect of the call was also found dead in his home. He is 43 year old Steven Kiley, State police investigators said they believe he was a school principal.

At a press conference today Governor Andrew Cuomo said , "To the Clark family — to his mother, his father, his brother — we hope you find peace in this senseless act of violence,"  

Gov. Andrew Cuomo has ordered that flags at all state government buildings be lowered to half-staff in honor of State Police Trooper Nicholas F. Clark.
