EIGHT HAVE MADE IT BACK, FIVE STILL TO BE RESCUED FROM THE CAVE

Expert divers have now saved four more members of that youth soccer team who have been trapped for more than two weeks. The eight kids are in hospital, no official word on their condition. Four players and their coach remain, but rescue work is suspended for the night. The entire nation of Thailand is on edge.

WELL, HELLO IVANKA! WELCOME TO OUR PART OF THE WORLD!

First Daughter Ivanka Trump makes two stops in Central New York today, including a lunchtime visit to the P-Tech School at the Institute of Technology in Syracuse. She will meet with a select group of students, dignitaries, and other invited guests; neither event is open to the public.

SYRACUSE MAYOR BEN WALSH KEEPS HIS PROMISE

The Mayor asked for more money in the city's budget to hire additional first responders, so later today, 37 new police officers and 28 new firefighters will be sworn in. Ladies and gentlemen, we thank you for your commitment to serving the community. Good Luck!

I HATE THESE ANIMAL CRUELTY STORIES. THIS ONE IS JUST SICK...

Tyler Simon, 25, arrested and charged with aggravated animal cruelty. Citizens called 911 Friday to report a naked man trying to kill a dog with his bare hands. Witnesses told Syracuse Police he also appeared to be under the influence of some substance (Gosh, ya think?). The dog survived, but is being treated for multiple injuries.
