Three Arrested In Stabbing Incident In Town Of Throop

Throop, N.Y. - State Police in Auburn have arrested three people regarding a stabbing. Troopers responded to a 911 call of a male who had been stabbed at a residence in the Town of Aurelius. Troopers arrested  30 year old Jorge L. Sanchez, of Auburn, NY, for stabbing his  23 year old brother Alex A. Baez in the stomach with a knife in addition to other charges including Endangering the Welfare of a child. Baez was treated for a minor stab wound, and was charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. Troopers also arrested Sanchez's girlfriend, 23 year old Louise A. Partin, of Auburn, NY, after investigators determined she provided false information regarding the stabbing.

Sanchez and Baez were both arraigned at the town of Throop Court, with Sanchez being remanded to the Cayuga County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail / $5,000 bond. 

Baez was released on his own recognizance to reappear at a later date.

Partin was issued an appearance ticket to appear at the town of Throop Court at a later date.
