A man is in serious condition after he was shot in a south Syracuse neighborhood Monday night.
Syracuse police say they were called to Upstate University Hospital just before 10pm, where a man in his 30's had been brought who had been shot in the chest. The victim continues to be treated at the hospital and is in serious condition from the shooting. That victim told officers the shooting occurred on South Salina Street near Wood Avenue. As of now, there is no information about the shooter, including a description.
