Carthage Man Accused of Sexually Abusing An Infant

Carthage, N.Y. - New York State Police  arrested a Carthage Man and  charged him with sexual and physical abuse of a child. 

Javon M. Marshall, age 22, from Carthage, is accused of sexual and physical abuse of a 16-month-old infant. 

 He was charged with Sex Abuse 1st degree, Assault 2nd degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. 

The Carthage Police Department requested assistance from State Police. The infant was transported to SUNY Upstate Medical Center for a medical evaluation.   

Marshall was arraigned in village of Carthage Court and remanded to jail  on $30,000 cash bail/$60,000 bond.
