Syracuse Bar, Employees And Patrons Robbed At Gunpoint After Hours

Syracuse, N.Y. -  Around 1:30 in the morning Tuesday October 9th, Police got a call about a robbery at McAvan’s Pub on W. Fayette Street. 

Employees stated that the business and 5 bar patrons had been robbed.

They told police that while they were inside the bar, two men with handguns entered and demanded money from the cash register. The suspects also demanded that the bar patrons turn over their money and other personal property.  Everyone inside the bar complied with the demands. 

The suspects were described as two black males, approximately 5’11” tall, 180 lbs, wearing all dark clothing and black bandanas covering their faces.  One suspect reportedly had a black handgun, and the other had a silver handgun.  The suspects left the area on foot. 

There were no injuries reported.
