Oneida County Man Arrested For Stealing Checks From His Employer

Oriskany, N.Y.  - Oneida County Sheriffs have arrested a man for Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument in the Second Degree (Class D Felony)

Zachary M. Williamson, age 24, of Remsen, was arrested for after an investigation showed that he had stolen numerous checks from his employer, forged his employers name on the checks and cashed the checks at several locations in Oneida and Madison Counties.

On October 16th, armed with warrants Oneida Sheriffs arrested Williamson in the Town of Remsen. 

Williamson was arraigned and sent to Oneida County jail with no bail.

The case will be turned over to the Oneida County District Attorney’s Office for Grand Jury consideration.
