North Syracuse Man Arrested For Robbing A Rite Aid

Syracuse, N.Y. - New York State Police responded to a robbery call last night around 8:30 at Rite Aid store on North Main Street in the village of North Syracuse

Troopers along with North Syracuse Police and Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office responded. 

A man wearing all black clothing entered the store, picked up a drink went to the checkout and then implied that he had a weapon, and demanded the cashier hand over the money in the register. The cashier handed over the money and the man left. 

Police positively identified 39 year old  William R. Green, of North Syracuse, and due to the quick response and the multi-agency effort, the suspect was apprehended quickly and a portion of the proceeds were recovered.

He is charged with Robbery 3rd degree, a class “D” felony.
