Former New York State AG Will Not Face Criminal Charges

New York, N.Y. - New York’s former Attorney General Eric Schneiderman will not face criminal charges following allegations from four women that he assaulted them.

Those accusations led to him resigning in May.

Nassau County District Attorney Madeline Singas said after an exhaustive review, evaluation of the facts, the law, and statutes of limitations, they will concluded their investigation without criminal charges.

Schneiderman said that he recognizes that “the decision not to prosecute does not mean I have done nothing wrong,” and he said he takes “full responsibility for my conduct.”
