Dewitt Man Arrested For Two Robberies And Possession Of Heroin

Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County Sheriff’s have arrested a man for two robberies and possession of heroin. 

57 year old Alberto Cerelli was arrested and charged with robbing a Cricket Wireless Store and Lyncourt Bakery, both taking place this week.

Police were able to get a good description of the suspect and his vehicle. Within less than an hour after the second robbery Thursday night police spotted the vehicle. 

Cerelli was charged with two counts of robbery in the 3rd degree and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, after detectives discovered 27 bags of heroin on him.

Bail was set at $5,000 cash or bond for each incident.
