Syracuse, N.Y. - The Syracuse Police Department announces when its new chief will take over.
Kenton Buckner's first day on the job is Monday, December 3rd. Buckner is working in Little Rock, Arkansas, but leaves that post on Friday.
He'll be taking over for current Chief Frank Fowler when he retires.
