Brindisi's Lead Over Tenney Continues To Widen

Syracuse, N.Y. - The counting of the 13,000 absentee ballots continues in the 22nd Congressional District and its bad news for Congresswoman Claudia Tenney.

State Assemblyman Anthony Brindisi's lead has widened from just under 1,300 votes before the absentee ballot count began to more than 1,700 votes.

Madison and Cortland County have tallied all of their ballots.

Oswego, Broome, and Herkimer counties are still counting their count today. Election Officials say they are confident they will have a final count at the end of the day. Oneida County is counting ballots too, but aren't saying when they will be finished.

Counting gets underway today in Chenango and Tioga Counties.
