Syracuse Mets Will Be "Butter Sculptures" For A Day

Syracuse, N.Y. - This July the Syracuse Mets will be taking the field as the “Syracuse Butter Sculptures”??

The Mets and the New York State Fair are teaming up for one-game-only name change on July 13th.

Players will wear special hats and jerseys that feature the Fair’s famous butter sculpture. The whole game will be “Fair-themed,” with Fair food like Italian sausage, fried dough, wine slushies. Plus the first 1000 fans through the gates will receive a Scooch Butter Sculpture bobblehead. The Syracuse Mets season begins April 4 at home.
