Syracuse Teen Indicted In Regards To Rochester Murder

Rochester, N.Y. - A Monroe County grand jury has indicted a Syracuse teenager on second degree murder and second degree robbery charges in the shooting death of a man on Lyell Avenue.

Nashiem Burton was the second teen charged in the murder of Anthony Lawson on September 24.

A 17-year-old, David Johnson, was also arrested for the same crime.

Police say Johnson tried to steal Lawson's gold chain as he got out of his car. When Lawson fought back, Johnson and Burton shot him, then stole his car and ran over his body as they drove away.
