Syracuse, N.Y. - A West Genesee School District school bus driver, who also served as Syracuse’s DPW commissioner has been handed a 12-count child porn indictment.
63 year old Jeffrey Wright, of Syracuse, who was arrested on porn charges, January of last year, has been indicted on one count of promoting a sexual performance by a child and 11 counts of possessing a sexual performance by a child.
The promoting charge is punishable by up to 2 1/3 to 7 years in prison and "each" possession charge carries possible sentence of 1 1/3 to 4 years in prison.
There’s no indication any West Genesee students were involved, the district has said.
Wright remains free as the case continues.
