Dewitt Chili's Murder Getaway Driver Goes To Trial

Syracuse, N.Y. - The only trial to come out of the double murder at the Dewitt Chili's starts today.

Ronald Green is the only suspect to not take a plea deal.

Green is accused of being the get-away-driver for the admitted killer, William Wood Jr.

Green told police he was held at gunpoint and intimidated by Wood when he tried to refuse to drive to the robbery. That robbery turned into a double homicide when Wood shot and killed Stepehen Goodknecht and Kristopher Hicks.

Wood was sentenced to life in prison.

While Green's lawyers argue he was forced to drive the car, prosecutors say he was motivated because he was going to get a cut of what was taken.
