Syracuse, N.Y. - County Executive Ryan McMahon announced that he has directed the Onondaga County Parks Department to extend the hours at Jamesville Beach this weekend due to the high temperatures and humidity forecasted.
Starting Friday, Jamesville Beach will open an hour earlier starting at 10 A.M. and remain open an hour later, closing at 7 P.M.
County Executive McMahon said, “A trip to Jamesville Beach with family and friends is a great way to try and stay cool this weekend. I am happy to be able to extend the hours of this great county park to help people try and beat the heat.”
