Fair Officials Brace For Massive Turnout For Final Weekend

Geddes, N.Y. - If you haven't had the chance to visit the New York State Fair this year, time is running out.

It's the final few days of the event before it comes to a close on Labor Day. So far, the Fair is setting a blistering pace to break last year's all-time attendance record.

With huge crowds expected at the State Fairgrounds this weekend, Centro says 12 more buses will be running to help visitors out.

Fair officials and State Police have already made changes to bus patterns along State Fair Boulevard to help traffic run smoothly.

They say anything learned at the end of this year's fair will be put to good use for the 2020 event. That includes plans to add even more parking spaces.
