The suspect in a double murder in Sodus has pled guilty to murdering a woman and her son last year.
Alberto Gutierre-Reyes was found guilty of killing Selena Hidalgo-Calderon and her 14 month old son Owen in May of 2018. He was charged on two counts of manslaughter, both of which spell 20 years in jail per count for Gutierre-Reyes. Gutierre-Reyes was charged in federal court with having a forged social security card and re-entering the US after being removed twice before.
