Syracuse Police Make Drug Bust, Find A Half Pound Of Cocaine In Oven Mitt

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse Police make a major drug bust and arrest three people

Police found around over 22,000 dollars worth of drugs inside a Syracuse home on Lynhurst Ave.

A plastic bag containing a half a pound of cocaine was found inside an oven mitt hanging in the kitchen, three grocery bags were filled with more coke in a nightstand. In the basement, ten doses of heroin and a small amount of crack cocaine was found along with weapons and other drug praphenalia.

Angel DeJesus, Monique Gaulden-DeJesus and Amy Hoffman have all been charged with first-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and could face 25 years to life in prison.

  • A stolen and loaded .45 caliber pistol
  • A .410-gauge Harrington & Richardson shotgun
  • A 12-gauge Harrington & Richardson shotgun
  • More than $6,000 in cash
  • Baking soda, a bottle of quinine used to cut drugs
  • 1.2 grams of crack cocaine
  • 10 glassine envelopes of heroin, a digital scale, sandwich bags and plastic envelopes
