Police Say 13 Year Old Syracuse Boy Responsible For Being Hit

Syracuse, N.Y. - Syracuse police have concluded their investigation into a 13-year-old boy who was hit by a car on James St.

Investigators say Zyere Jackson, a Lincoln Middle School student was responsible for the crash that critically injured him. Police say he was not in a crosswalk when he began to run across James St. slipped and fell into the path of a car.

However the driver of the vehicle, Raneshea Green, is not off the hook entirely. While she did stay and has cooperated with police, she has been ticketed for operating without insurance and suspended registration.
