Gas Prices ClimbIn Central New York

Central New York drivers are paying a bit more to fill up their vehicles these days.

According to Triple A, the average cost for a gallon of regular gas is $2.64. That's up four cents from last week and is a nickel more than a month ago.

Oil prices are soaring again as tensions in the Middle East continue to rise. International benchmark Brent crude is up a $2.86 a barrel, to $70.46 and West Texas Intermediate crude is up a $1.49, to $64.54 a barrel.

The state average for regular gasoline is $2.72, while nationally it's $2.58.
