"Community Spread" of COVID-19 Confirmed In Onondaga County

Syracuse, N.Y. - More testing, more cases.

It's that simple according to Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon. But all that testing has proved that there is a community spread of the Coronavirus.

There are now 45 confirmed cases in several towns in the County. There have been around 900 tests.

13 of the cases are in the City of Syracuse. The rest are in the surrounding towns including Salina, Clay, Cicero, Camillus, Manlius and Onondaga, Lysander, Pompey, Skaneateles

Four of the cases are hospitalized with one in critical condition.
