Syracuse, N.Y. - A sixth Onondaga County resident has passed away after being infected with the coronavirus.

County Executive Ryan McMahon said the individual was a woman in her 70s with underlying medical conditions. The number of confirmed cases in the county is also closing in on 400. That number will likely keep going up since hundreds of people are still awaiting test results to see if they have the disease.

Syracuse continues to have the highest amount of cases, followed by Clay and DeWitt.
