SU Chancellor Says In-Person Classes Will Resume This Fall

Syracuse, N.Y. - It looks like students will be returning to the Syracuse University campus this fall.

Chancellor Kent Syverud says in-person classes will resume unless public health officials say it's unsafe. Students were sent home weeks ago in an effort to slow the spread of coronavirus and have been taking their classes online.

Syverud says the school will work on increasing testing to make sure students and staff stay healthy. He also says figuring out how to protect students who live in dormitories will be the biggest challenge.
