Theresa, N.Y. - A former Jefferson County Deputy Clerk has been arrested for stealing more than $48,000.
43 year old Danielle Rajner was a deputy clerk for the Village of Theresa. State police say an investigation found she stole 48,326 dollars from the village. Rajner has not worked for the Village since August of 2018, when officials first became aware of missing money.
Police say Rajner was charged with Grand Larceny in the 3rd degree
