Congressman Katko Files Lawsuit Over Absentee Ballots

Congressman John Katko is taking legal action that would allow additional oversight of the absentee ballot counting process.

The 24th District Republican has filed a lawsuit asking a judge to keep a close eye on the 70-thousand mail-in ballots that have been sent in. Right now, he has a 55-thousand vote lead over Democratic challenger Dana Balter. In the 22nd District, Republican Claudia Tenney is asking for similar action to be taken in her race against Democratic incumbent Anthony Brindisi.
