Onondaga County COVID Numbers Still Looking Good

Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County Executive Ryan Mcmahon announcing today that 4 more people have died. The other numbers showed that new cases were up slightly to 101 which is still a good number in relation to what was in the past. The 7 days positivity rate is 2.5 %. Active cases are down to 1,410 and the hospital number is down again as well.

The UK strain of COVID 19 in Onondaga county was found a week ago, and County Executive Ryan Mcmahon says there is no evidence of another case.

McMahon said the vaccination process at the OnCenter went very well with the average turnaround time being 25 minutes.
