County Executive Ryan McMahon Expanding Pre-Registration To 30

Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon announced today that they are expanding the eligibility pre-registration age to 30 and above.

He said he wants to vaccinate everyone they can. He said he thinks it time that everyone is eligible

In regards to the numbers, McMahon said the positivity rate is 0.8%, there are 68 new cases, 30 people are in the hospital, 8 in ICU. He said one more person has died a woman in her 80's.

McMahon said he still believes that college students should be vaccinated to ensure that the new variants don't get brought back to Onondaga County. He said one of the risks for Onondaga County is the NYC variant.

He also announced the county will be taking appointments tomorrow for clinics at the OnCenter on Monday and Tuesday
