NY Announces Changes To Nursing Home Visitation Guidelines

Albany, N.Y. - Governor Cuomo has announced new nursing home visitation guidance, effective immediately.

The new guidance allows visitation at all times and for all residents.

There will still be safeguards in place like not being able to visit unvaccinated residents in areas of high community spread and residents with confirmed COVID-19 infection, or those in isolation or quarantine.

Screenings, masking, and social distancing of six feet between individuals are all included in the guidance.
