Claudia Tenney Says She Supports Elise Stefanik In Run For Leadership

Washington, D.C. - Representative Claudia Tenney says she's got Elise Stefanik's back.

Stefanik, who represents Northern New Yorks's 21st district, has been mentioned as a possible replacement for Wyoming Congress woman Liz Cheney for the No. 3 post in House Republican leadership.

The secret ballot vote could be held next week.

Governor Cuomo said regarding Stefanik's bid that the GOP continues in their hyper-conservative divisive politics and that it is not representative of America. He said the GOP learned nothing from Donald Trump.

Cheney has ruffled some GOP feathers with her constant attacks on former President Trump and her statements regarding those who have questions about possible fraud in the 2020 elections.
