Syracuse Gun Buyback Takes Hundreds Of Guns Off Of Syracuse's Streets

The state Attorney General's Office is calling a weekend gun buyback in Syracuse very successful.

Over 340 weapons were turned in during Saturday's event at Saint Lucy's Church, with lines forming an hour before the buyback began. All of the weapons that were collected are going to be cataloged and then destroyed. Police Chief Kenton Buckner says it's likely another gun buyback will happen in the near future.
