Syracuse, N.Y. - TSA officer catch another gun at Syracuse Hancock Airport Sunday
A man from Texas was going through the checkpoint when an Xray of his carry on showed a load 44 caliber revolver.
Syracuse Police responded, confiscated the weapon and cited the man.
The gun owner said he flew his private plane to New York with the gun, but was having trouble with his plane and booked a commercial flight back to his home. He said he forgot he had the loaded weapon in his luggage.
