Three Students Sent To Hospital Following Bad Reaction To Vape Pen

New Hartford, N.Y. - Three students at the Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES school are sent to the hospital due to a bad reaction they suffered while using a vape pen.

Oneida County deputies say a total of four students smoked the unknown substance out of the pen yesterday. Two of them were taken to Saint Luke's Hospital in Utica for evaluation while the third was brought to Saint Elizabeth's Hospital in Utica, but no information has been released on their conditions. The fourth student was cleared by school medical staff and brought home by their parents.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
