Onondaga County Exec McMahon Announces COVID Numbers And More Testing

Syracuse, N.Y. - Onondaga County Executive Ryan McMahon announcing 263 new cases in the county today.

He said there were two deaths a woman who was 100 and a man in his 60's. Some good news hospitalizations were flat, at 127 with 26 in ICU. 88% of ICU patients were not vaccinated according to McMahon. McMahon said 89% of the new cases are under the age of 59.

He also announced today an additional 300 appointments are available for COVID-19 testing Thursday.

The testing will take place in the lobby of the theaters at 421 Montgomery Street in Syracuse.

Appointments are required and can be obtained by going to COVID19.ongov.net/appointments and selecting "Asymptomatic Testing-Community Locations"
