Auburn, N.Y. - The Auburn Police Department is currently investigating the installation of a credit card skimming device that was located at one of the check-out lanes at the Walmart, on Grant Ave, in Auburn.
The device appeared to be installed on July 2nd, but Walmart employees did not locate the device until July 5th. That is the same thing that happened at a Walmart in Fulton. Camillus police report, a skimmer was also found at the Camillus Walmart.
The skimming device captures data and records the cardholder's information and PIN without the cardholder knowing.
Auburn police have been able to capture pictures of the suspects and you can see them below.
