Syracuse Man Who Crashed Into Vehicle On Rt 31 Killing 9 Year Old Arrested

Town of Sullivan, N.Y. - A Syracuse man has been arrested in a fatal crash in Madison County:

Back in June, 53 year old Abdirashid Noor, was driving on Route 31, near Smith Ridge Road in the Town of Sullivan, when he allegedly attempted to pass several vehicles at once.

As he did he was traveling westbound in the eastbound driving lane, and slammed head on into a vehicle driven by Jordan King of Fayetteville. As a result of the crash 9-year-old Charlee King, who was the rear seat passenger was killed.

Noor is charged with one count of Manslaughter in the 2nd degree (class C Felony), two counts of Assault in the 3rd degree (Class A Misdemeanor), one count of reckless driving (Unclassified Misdemeanor), one count of unsafe passing (Infraction) and one count of speeding (Infraction).
